PromptCare is currently in search of an Account Manager for Infusion & Specialty Sales. This is a full-time position and the AM will cover the area of Boston in the state of Massachusetts.

Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for maximizing sales for the infusion & pharmacy business unit at The PromptCare Companies. They must maintain a high level of knowledge on the disease states and services provided, work closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants and other key referral sources at hospitals and other patient care organizations. Responsibilities include assessing opportunity and utilizing internal and external resources to solidify relationships that will increase profitable net revenues to meet budget objectives. The successful candidate must be proficient in all phases of home infusion and specialty therapy lines, driving increased referrals of core therapies.

Requirements:
  • College Degree preferred
  • Driver’s License
  • Previous sales experience with 4 years of medical, pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy or healthcare sales experience preferred.
  • Strong IVIg sales experience highly preferred.
  • Results driven.
  • Proven track record of success

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

  • Identifies present referral sources and develops database of individuals/organizations.
  • Assesses accounts for new business opportunities and promotes new company services. Secures renewal orders with existing customers as needed.
  • Follow up with accounts on regular basis to assure client satisfaction, changing needs, territory strategies, progress in attaining sales goals, product mix, payor mix and market penetration, etc.
  • Researches and identifies preferred new referral sources.
  • Initiates and coordinates in-services with clients and appropriate managers.
  • Whenever possible, introduces new staff for smooth transition and strong communication.
  • Assists in obtaining required paperwork necessary for the referral process.
  • Identifies and establishes a strong relationship with those involved in the referral process.
  • Develops and implements marketing plan for territory, consistent with company and corporate goals and regulatory and accrediting bodies.
  • Assists in developing new programs consistent with plan, client need and community desire.
  • Prepares materials necessary for all sales calls and presentations.
